Wheaton College is only as good as its people. —President Duane Litfin
The Wheaton Fund makes a direct investment in the lives of students and faculty by supporting four key areas:
Affordability. After searching for “best buys” in higher education, Money magazine ranked Wheaton 34th out of the hundreds of four-year colleges in the U.S. Wheaton’s tuition is reasonable because the College foots the bill by about $10,000 per student, per year. The Wheaton Fund supplements this amount.
Faculty Excellence. As the National Review College Guide puts it, “At Wheaton…the professors actually teach.” Wheaton’s faculty are committed men and women of faith dedicated to teaching students. They are also top scholars in their fields. The Wheaton Fund helps Wheaton attract and retain some of the nation’s most preeminent faculty by providing competitive salaries and opportunities for continuing spiritual and professional growth.
Library Learning Excellence. Yesterday’s chalkboards and card catalogs have been replaced by the computers and multi-media resources of today. The Wheaton Fund helps Wheaton students gain access to the latest learning tools so they are well prepared for today’s technology-driven world.
Programming Excellence. Learning opportunities beyond the classroom are crucial to the integration of faith and learning. Wheaton athletics provides lessons in teamwork and perseverance, while outreach programs like student ministries, mission trips, and the HNGR program give students hands-on opportunities to serve others.
